One team of teenage volunteers had a lucky escape when fundraising! They were out going door to door requesting sponsorship from local businesses for their upcoming event. At one particular office building, they knocked and knocked but no one answered.
The next morning however, they discovered exactly why. It turned out that they had just missed out on being picked up by the vice squad! The particular establishment was a ‘massage parlour’ and had been raided literally minutes before they got there.
I wonder what the kind of donation they would have got if it had been a day earlier!!!
